Democrat primary presidential candidate, Joe Biden, promised to come after gun manufacturers in an aggressive, angry fashion. In several forums over the last two days, including at a meeting of the anti-gun Moms Demand Action group, Biden told gun manufacturers, “I’m coming for you, period.”
Montana citizens should be alarmed, as the Big Sky State has the highest number of gun manufacturers per capita in the United States. More than 150 gun manufacturers have set up shop in Montana producing firearms, with many of them sold both in state and also overseas including Great Britain, the Middle East, Jordan, Germany, and France.
However, Vice President Joe Biden is making it clear that Montana’s gun manufacturers will have nowhere to hide should he be elected to the presidency.
Biden told the CNN Town Hall this week, “A guy has 12 assault weapons with bump stocks, which means you can fire it faster. You can pull the trigger faster. Why in God’s name should anyone, anyone, anyone, anyone be able to own that? It’s just wrong, and we’ve got to — and I promise you, as president, I am going to get these guys.”
Biden regularly confuses civilian semi-automatic sporting rifles, like the AR-15 and AK-47 with “assault rifles” that are military-grade automatic rifles.
Nonetheless of their inability to understand or accurately categorize types of firearms, Democrats are convinced they should have the power to regulate the Second Amendment.
Looking like Dirty Hairy but with a finger-gun, Biden told the crowd, “I want to let them know. I promise you. I’m the only guy that has beaten the gun manufacturers — I’m the only guy that has beaten the NRA nationally, and I did it twice, nationally. And gun manufacturers, I’m coming for you. Period.”
