With just days before ballots will officially be tallied in the 2020 Montana primary, the United States President has chimed in with an endorsement for U.S. Congress. Donald Trump has thrown support behind Matt Rosendale for the open seat.
President Trump, still wildly popular in Montana, will no doubt add considerable weight to Rosendale’s candidacy. Rosendale is currently being challenged by several candidates in the primary, ranging from conservatives like Debra Lamm and Corey Stapleton on the right to RINOs like Joe Dooling on the left.
It is believed among many that Rosendale, a ranch-owner who resides in Glendive and a successful business-owner and former state senator and State Auditor, will be the likely winner in Tuesday’s primary, or at the very least is a competitive front-runner.
