Montana Legislature Could Soon Put Big-Tech Censorship on the Run

Operating in unison with several other states, the Montana legislature is now taking steps to reign-in Big Tech censorship by introducing 3 new bills which would protect Montanan’s citizens from the overbearing actions of censorship.

All 3 bills came out of the house, 2 which were sponsored by Lola Sheldon-Galloway (HD22) and the 3rd by Brad Tschida (HD97). I have included a link to the respective bills below.

HB 587 (Sheldon-Galloway)

HB 597 (Sheldon-Galloway)

HB 573 (Tschida)

Since the Trump victory in 2016, Big Tech has openly and unapologetically ramped-up censorship for social media influencers and websites that lean to the right, almost exclusively.

The introduction of the censorship bills in the Montana legislature, if signed into law, will compel tech companies to end political censorship at the risk of heavy fines for failing to treat all Montanan’s fairly in cyberspace.

Jim White of Montana Gazette Radio covered all 3 bills in greater detail earlier today. The video of the analysis can be found by clicking below.

Bringing you conservative news and commentary means it is tough out there on social media. We’re constantly getting kneecapped and constrained by tech companies who find the truth intolerable, resulting in our reach being severely throttled.
