Some Republicans in Montana need to figure this out (looking at you Rep. Stromswold). Thankfully, Sen. Rand Paul, a physician, was able to accurately assess childhood “sex changes” or “gender reassignment” surgeries as genital mutilation (something that the Montana Daily Gazette has repeatedly reported for months).
But, of course, cutting genitals off of kids is obviously genital mutilation. Kids have some atrociously bad ideas sometimes, and occasionally they’re worse than just cutting their own hair. When children have LGBTQXYZLMNOP+-/™ parents or live in a pro-sodomy environment, for example being placed on the laps of pedophile crossdressers, they have even worse ideas.
Montanans need to protect our children against predators, genital mutilation, and extraordinarily bad decisions. Once they’re 18, they can mutilate themselves however they want. Heck, they can even get that extraordinarily tacky tramp-stamp in tattoo green. But until then, we must protect kids.
