A hearing is being held today in Room 472 for HB 573, a bill sponsored by Representative Brad Tschida (HD93). The bill is a major step in the ongoing battle to reign in Big-Tech censorship for Montana citizens.
The good news is that you can participate in the hearing process, even if you cannot make it to Helena today for the hearing. The link below will connect you to the legislator page for the Montana House, which includes e-mail and phone information.
No good bill gets written on its own, and HB 573 is no exception. Martin Lynch and Montana Public Service Commissioner Randy Pinocci have both worked tirelessly with Representative Brad Tschida to make sure that HB 573 is both effective and legally within the parameters of Section 230, which currently regulates most of America’s technology companies.
Lynch and Pinocci joined Jim White from Montana Gazette Radio earlier today to go over the specifics of HB 573 and to direct the folks on how and why it is so important that they get involved.
