As the Biden administration pushes gun-control initiatives, firearm sales were at a record high in March.
The number of firearm background checks, which serve as a rough number of guns sold nationwide, hit record levels of 4.7 million checks. In January, 4.3 million firearm background checks were conducted, an all-time high.
January and March are the only months in American history that the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System firearm checks have broken past 4 million. Prior to March 2021, the highest number of gun background checks was December 2020, with 3.9 million background checks.
While the FBI ran 40 million gun background checks total last year, in the first three months of 2021 12.5 million checks have been processed.
The record-breaking number of Americans using their 2nd Amendment rights should demonstrate that the Democrats introducing bill after bill of unconstitutional gun control measures are not working on behalf of the American people.
