Video: Montana a National Leader On Election Transparency and Reform

-

It doesn’t take an Ivy League education to determine that regardless of how popular a particular candidate is, or how much money that they raise, if the voting process is rigged, then nothing else that they do will matter on election day.

The series of events surrounding America’s most recent national election last November should be stark reminders to everyone that the integrity of an election, all elections, in fact, are paramount to a functioning democratic republic and the rule of law.

In Montana, the elected public servants did an excellent job of carrying out the will of the people during the latest legislative session, while Montana’s Governor, Greg Gianforte, is leading the way, and the nation, on federal meddling in individual states.

Another champion of smaller government and more transparency is newly-elected Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen. Jacobsen, formerly the Deputy Secretary of State, took an active role during the 2021 legislative session and was successful in getting all 5 bills that she requested signed into law.

Jacobsen joined Jim White of Montana Gazette Radio recently to discuss the 2021 legislative session and much more. The 1st video below covers voter integrity, while the 2nd video is the entire interview with Jacobsen.
