Censorship: Same E-mail Service that Banned MDG 5 Months Ago Just Banned Babylon Bee


First, they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.


The marketing company and enemy of the 1st Amendment Mailchimp have once again admitted to reading the private e-mail of its customers and using the results of their snooping to ban customers with whom they disagree.

After banning the publisher of the Montana Daily Gazette, Gideon Knox, just a few months ago, Mailchimp is at it once again with the suspension of Babylon Bee, a parody website that leans towards the right and which often lampoon liberals with their wildly popular articles.

Over the course of the latest legislative session in Helena, numerous attempts were made to reign in Big Tech censorship at the state level, the final attempt being defeated by a 1 vote margin. Montana Daily Gazette was front and center with the legislation’s coverage, and our publisher and editor both testified in favor of the 1st Amendment in the legislative committee. As you can see by the links listed above, a lot of ink has been spent by Montana Daily Gazette to stop the tsunami of censorship over the last year, and that’s only about 25% of the articles that were published on the topic. Sadly, with the failure of the legislature to stop the 1st Amendment oppression, we have sown the wind, and all citizens of Montana must now reap the whirlwind.

The good news is that those of you who are reading this article still have the breath of life in your lungs, which means that freedom still has a chance. As history proves, you must act now to defend those victimized by censorship, or in the end, you will stand alone.
