Cascade County Republican Float About As Weird as Chairwoman’s Stump Speech

Montana Daily Gazette has already – and numerously – reported on the Critical Race Theory stump speech of Cyndi Baker, who demanded at the MT GOP that people vote for her based upon the color of her skin.

This did not impress the Chairman of the Montana Young Republicans (a Latino) who wrote an op-ed for Montana Daily Gazette, calling it “racist” and contrary to Republican ideals. Meanwhile, we wondered aloud how on Earth the Critical Race Theorist could be elected as a county chairwoman in the GOP, let alone think she should run for Vice-Chair of the Montana GOP.

We answered that question in the article last night, “So Who Were the 42 Idiots Who Voted for Marxism at MT GOP Convention? We Found One. It turns out that man was Terry Nelson, who swore up and down he’s not a RINO, before confessing the other night to being among the 42 who voted against Lola Sheldon Galloway based upon her ethnicity.

Cascade County, home of the Red Wave, seems to be a conflict of contradictions. Clearly, Republican organizers are fighting hard to keep Cascade County Red. But the Central Committee, however, seems to be a whole other kind of red.

In what might be the lamest float design ever, the Republican float in the Cascade County GOP parade simply contained Cyndi Baker, the aforementioned woman who thinks her ethnicity entitles her to things, dressed in a Lady Liberty costume.

The float was virtually bare, except for the chairwoman. See below (please note, the banners have been photoshopped in by MDG in keeping with our stereotypical “serrated edge” reporting style).

Cyndi Baker, aka Lady Liberty, is clearly the center of the float, just as she is the center of the parade. It’s highly doubtful she understands, or has ever, read the poem by Ezra Lazarus whose poem was embronzed upon the New Colossus, aka, The Statue of Liberty.

It reads:

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Please notice, there is not a darned thing in those epic words about ethnicity, race, skin color, or melanin count. The Cascade County Republican Committee needs to be purged, and brought back to its roots.
