Montana’s largest credit union hit the panic button earlier today and called the Kalispell Police on 2 peaceful petitioners who were lawfully collecting signatures from Whitefish Credit Union (WFCU) Members.
The two “criminals with clipboards,” Toni Mitchell and Shane Fitzgerald, were on public property collecting signatures for an investigation into financial malfeasance and potential crimes perpetrated by WFCU against almost a dozen credit union members.
Since the Montana Daily Gazette launched its investigation into the suspicious loan practices of WFCU several months ago, more victims have come forward to allege similar crimes committed against them by not only WFCU but other well-known banking institutions in Flathead Valley, as well.
Montana Daily Gazette arrived at the WFCU Kalispell branch just in time to see Kalispell’s finest leaving the scene. We did, however, get a chance to interview Toni and Shane to get their side of the story. To see the interviews, click the video link below.
