It’s December in Montana, and wildfires are still raging. Never in Montana have most residents seen this occur or remember it this late in the season. A combination of wind and warmer weather has created prime conditions for fires in December.
GREAT FALLS, Mont. — Fires pushed by strong winds were burning east of Browning and south of Great Falls.
Browning Public Schools canceled classes on Wednesday due to the grass fires and a power outage.
