January 6 is a day that lives in infamy. It’s the day that U.S. Capitol Police open-fired on civilians and assaulted them, who were engaged in ‘unauthorized tourism’ in their own house, one that they own. We would encourage perusing the work of David Sumrall, on the ground with the camera – and thousands of thousands of hours of footage of people on the ground January 6 outside and inside the U.S. Capitol and accurately ascertain that there was no “riot” until police fired upon innocent people exercising their right to petition the government for grievances.
Sure, Antifa was there. And yes, they were agitating. And absolutely patriots were trying to stop them. But not only were innocent and unarmed people murdered, hundreds of more political prisoners currently rest behind bars in the Land of the Free of Home of the Brave without a single criminal charge and without a fair or speedy trial. Thousands of been arrested merely for being present, some just because their cellular device pinged near the capitol.
There was, of course, no insurrection. There was a lawful protest, with far less damage than the day Trump was inaugurated in 2017.
So then, Montana Daily Gazette is organizing “The People’s House Rally” on January 6 at noon. There will be no visible firearms. There will be no shouting or misbehaving. There will be prayer, led by Montana clergy. There will be peaceful talks, by Montana patriots. There will be hymns, and a petition to God that the 2022 election season goes according to HIS plans.
We will petition that God will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven.
Please take the day off work, or take your lunch hour to join us at the capitol building. May God bless Montana.
