No Groceries Unless Accompanied by a ‘Health Warden’? Canadian Province Bans Unvaxxed from Box Ofice Stores

With Canadian truckers staging a mass, unprecedented protest in the nation’s capital, sounding the alarm about the barbaric pandemic lockdown rules that still plague the country, including some provinces which have instituted and still maintain vaccine passports, forced closures of gyms and restaurants and restrictions on church gatherings, one province has instituted a new measure which has not been anywhere in North America.

The province of Quebec, which has nearly 9 million people, or about a 20% of Canada’s population, has officially banned unvaccinated people over the age of 12 from shopping in big box office stores like Best Buy, Ikea, Walmart and Costco, unless they can show proof of vaccination. They have already been banned in smaller venues like Liquor and cannabis stores, gyms, concerts, and theaters, but managed to escape larger stores up until this point.

The latter two, which compromise Canada’s #1 and #3 Grocery stores, are given an exception, but with conditions. If they want to shop at Walmart, a “health warden” must walk alongside them and monitor them, ensuring they are only allowed to purchase food and medicine while being forbidden from buying anything else.

This authoritarian policy applies to any store over 5000 square feet.

The province is also currently planning on imposing crippling fines on people who refuse to be vaccinated for non-medical reasons, a move which is currently being debated in National Assembly.
