Montana loves Donald Trump. Let’s face it. We just do. He won by overwhelming margins in 2016 and by a slightly-less but still landslide-quality victory in 2020 (despite the overwhelming fraud throughout the state). Any time Trump, or a surrogate like Trump Jr. or Vice President Pence came to Montana, the crowds were record-breaking. Excitement was palpable. It’s not that we thought Trump was perfect – far from it – but that he was such a good alternative to his candidates that he earned the respect of the Montana people. As president, he earned more respect by keeping good on his promises and leading conservatively.
There’s one exception to the Montana Trump Train – Ryan Zinke. Zinke kept his distance from Trump, afraid to endorse him, and only getting close to the administration to land himself a job in Washington (one he soon lost due to his dishonesty, financial waste, and Trump’s famous ‘You’re Fired”).
According to the Philadelphia Tribune in May of 2016, Zinke refused to endorse Trump despite Trump being the presumptive nominee. By May, no candidate could catch him. Nonetheless, Zinke refused to endorse him. The newspaper writes…
“Zinke told the Montana Standard in March that hethought Trump was positioned to win the Republican nomination and avoid a brokered convention.Montana’s lone representative didn’t endorse Trump, saying instead that all 18 Republican candidatesrunning at the beginning of the election were qualified (editor’s Note: Does that include Mitt Romney?).
Tuesday, Zinke stopped short of supporting Trump. His staff didn’t mention Trump by name.

The best Zinke could come up with to say, “Rep. Zinke would never support Mrs. Clinton and her anti-coal,anti-gun, anti-military policies, and will be looking carefully at who the presumptive nominee surround themselves with as advisers.” This is according to said Heather Swift, Zinke spokeswoman. “Rep. Zinke looks forward tosupporting whomever wins the Republican nomination.”” (“Daines, Zinke eager to defeat Clinton, lessenthusiastic of Trump,”(Source link Philadelphia Tribune, 5/4/16.)
In fact, the F-rated (in party loyalty) RINO was a constant thorn in Trump’s side. According to the Great Falls Tribune on 5/11/16, Zinke publicly opposed Trump’s strong stance on illegal immigration, with Zinke taking an amnesty-illegal approach to immigration.
The Tribune reports…
“[Zinke] couldn’t be bothered to answer Montana reporters’ questions about Trump, instead making his spokesperson dodge questions about Zinke’s lukewarm support. “Rep. Zinke … will be looking carefully at who the presumptive nominee surrounds himself with as advisers,” said Heather Swift, his communications director. Asked to name an issue where Zinke disagrees with Trump, Swift cited the businessman’s vow to deport immigrants.”
I repeat, Zinke disagreed with deporting [illegal] immigrants (undocumented Democrats).
According to the UK Daily Mail Online, Zinke’s daughter repeatedly attacked POTUS, calling him a piece of sh*#t for not allowing “transgender” people to serve in the military.” By the way, the number of transgender SEALs is zero.
“The daughter of one of President Donald Trump’s cabinet secretaries posted a profanity-laced tirade against her father’s bosson social media last month to denounce him for his ban on transgender soldiers.’This man is a disgrace,’Jennifer Detlefsen, a Virginia-based artist who is the daughter of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke wrote on her Instagram account on July 26.‘I’ve tried to keep politics out of my social media feed as much as possible, but this is inexcusable.’This veteran says sit down and shut the f*** up, you know-nothing, never-served piece of s***.’Detlefsen ended her post with the hashtag ‘#itmfa’ and ‘#wtf’, which are initials that stand for impeach the mother f****r already’ and ‘what the f***.’Like her father, Detlefsen is a Navy veteran. Zinke isa former SEAL.” (“’This man is a disgrace’: Interior Secretary Ryan
Do Montanans agree it is a “disgrace” to ban “Clingers” (flashback ot M.A.S.H.) from the armed services? Hardly, we do not think so. Zinke’s California daughters truly do seem to have adopted his California ways of life. Meanwhile, Dr. Al Olszewski’s daughter is a pivotal part of his campaign, shares her father’s Montana values, and doesn’t lace profanity toward Republican presidents.
It is no wonder then that Zinke received an ultimatum – quit or be fired.
