Sadly the predictions are calling for above normal this year in Montana. So prepare ahead of time to the best of your ability.

BOZEMAN, Mont — The National Interagency Fire Center released its prediction for the wildfire outlook this summer.

The map shows what states are predicted to be at risk of above-normal wildfire potential starting in July.

Montana is one of those states.

Forecasters say central and eastern Montana and much of Wyoming are predicted to have above-normal wildfire potential from July through September. by Jonathan May NBC Montana
